Our Mission

Pū Paʻakai supports Native Hawaiian students pursuing medicine by providing culturally grounded, long-term mentorship that strengthens identity, academic readiness, and access to healthcare careers. Through trusted relationships and shared kuleana, we aim to increase Indigenous representation in medicine and expand pathways that serve our communities.

Our Vision

Our vision is to cultivate a strong, nationwide network of Native Hawaiian students and mentors who lead, heal, and transform healthcare. By strengthening identity, academic readiness, and access to medicine, we aim to increase the number of Indigenous physicians serving our communities.
